Chrome Diner Chairs Get a Major Refurb!

I have had this chrome diner set for about 2 years now. I have been meaning  to reupholster the chairs this whole time. I finally did it!

First off, shine up that chrome! Little known trick, dip aluminum foil in warm water and BAM you have an instant chrome polisher.

now to cover up the nasty vinyl with everything vintage.

for the chair pad 4 wonderful vintage upholstery chair covers found at a garage sale.

chair backs covered with 4 vintage place-mats and the back by vintage fabric all from an antique store.

And now all together!

I seriously LOVE these chairs more then I ever have! So excited to get the table shined up too!

Summer refurbs

It has been a crazy last few months, and I'm hoping to get back on the blog band wagon. I have refurbished a coffee table, dresser, and side table all this summer and I wanted to show them off here.

First my new coffee table. It is so fun and I love it!

about 7 broken records... most of which were already broken, black paint, and some resin make up a pretty sweet table.

Next my white dresser and peach nightstand both needed a major refurb.

My dresser has faux dolie painted on the top (an art piece I was not too proud of)

The nightstand was peach with silver spray paint on the front (also a creation I was never proud of.)

(2 creations I can be very proud of.)

Love how all of these Projects came out and I have more to come!
